Virtual Dialogue on the Role of (Renewable) Energy

The Global Renewables Congress in partnership with Bread for the World cordially invite you to a virtual dialogue on the results of the IPCC WG III Report: Mitigation of Climate Change. The dialogue will take place virtually on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 at 5 pm CEST/ 3 pm GMT, two days after the release of the full report on the 4th of April.
The event will provide an overview of the IPCC report with a special focus on issues related to the urgently needed energy transformation. The panel will discuss the reports’ implications for Germany and countries of the Global South. Bringing together ministerial decision-makers, legislators, and representatives of civil society organisations from Germany and the Global South, the virtual dialogue aims at an exchange for an improved understanding of energy-related plans, expectations, needs, and necessary actions for the mitigation of climate change. A summary of the energy-related parts of the IPCC report will be shared with participants after the meeting.
