Meet the Champions Powering the Global Just Energy Transition
The Global Renewables Congress (GRC) is proud to launch the Renewable Energy Champions series, a new initiative highlighting the vital role legislators play in driving the global transition to clean, affordable, and equitable energy. As the world faces mounting political and environmental challenges, it is more important than ever to recognise and support the leaders crafting the policies that turn climate goals into legislative action.
Through this series, we will spotlight the stories of Renewable Energy Champions, legislators from around the world who are shaping a just energy transition. These are the individuals advocating for inclusive policies, overcoming implementation hurdles, and building cross-border connections to accelerate renewable energy uptake.
We especially seek to amplify the voices of women, young parliamentarians, and indigenous representatives who are often at the forefront of both progress and resistance. By sharing their experiences, successes and setbacks alike, we aim to inspire, inform, and strengthen a global network of lawmakers committed to a sustainable energy future.
